Holy Head-way! Phoenix Reclaimed Progress Update

It’s no secret I’m seriously behind where I’d like to have been by this point of 2015. Life keeps testing us, creating all these obstacles, whirring, busy minds, and filling my work time with worry-time. Boo! Then I hit the point of stressful, chaotic calm. Do you know what I’m talking about? It’s when the stress and crazy has gotten so bad, that the numb comes.

The numb brings heavy feelings, but doesn’t quite sour the mood. For me, heavy feelings of any kind equal frantic and insane typing. I have this uncontrollable thought problem—I’m sure those closest to me are nodding in agreement now. Wink. Here lately, those heavy feelings have taken residence inside my chest, and it’s just been flowing out.

Flowing out is good for me. I’m a crazy writer, in that sometimes, I don’t have a plan. I’ve done some of my best work, unplanned. *shrugs* I’ve learned to live with my crazy, as have my people. Lucky for them….my head is a scary place.

Oh, what? You wanted an update on Phoenix Reclaimed?! Well, shit! Let me get to that, finally. I really just needed to ramble. Oh. What? I’m doing it again. Shit. Ok. Focus. (Putting away the shiny things.)

So, Gabe’s really taken a footing into James Industries. He’s now the Vice President of the company, working next to Donovan James (the masturbating, voyeuristic entrepreneur from Phoenix on Fire). There is a huge, dangerous risk with the jobs that Gabriel does, and within the first 7 chapters, he is viciously attacked at a job site. Training Sean in the new job proves to be a challenge, with all too familiar situations popping back into Gabe’s life. Janie’s busily running At Your Service, LLC and proving to be a successful business owner. She’s starting to dip into even more markets, widening her business base yet again. She’s aged with perfection, still up to her nonsensical sexual deviancy. You’ll join them over the summer, while the kids are away.

The sex is hotter than ever, and scenes even more intense. The triggers remain the same, plus a few new ones to liven things up a bit more. You’ll learn lots more about Gabe in this final book, and you’ll get to see how it all comes full circle for Janie. (say what?!)

The Probed Saga was one that weighed on me heavily, for years. I’m starting to feel that shift, and I’m excited to welcome it!

Have you started reading the first book yet?? You should…here’s the link for Phoenix Rising!

PS. I forgot. I put a ticker on the main blog page that clocks my word count and percentage finished of Phoenix Reclaimed!
